Jack London's The Call of the Wild amazed me with its constant action and wonderful features.

Theme: They packed the sled way to rampant and heavy that the dogs could hardley pull them. Then they had way to many dogs for one sled that the sled couldnt even hold enough food to be able to feed all of the dogs. You should be prepared before going out on something your not used to doing and something very important to you and others risking lives. Say you have never driven a car before and you know nothing about one. Well you have a flat and you put the tire on and dont put the srews back on, saying oh it will last us till we get home. Or duck taping the moter in place until you get the money to get it fixed. Guessing the time because you dont have a watch.
They had to many dogs and less food when they needed a lot more for traveling in the cold and long distance. Outcome they staved and froze and was tired and very weak, and dogs starved.
This book could connect to Old Yeller. The dog was ferine but went up against something he couldnt handle and died. He didnt really think things threw and made everybody morose.

The Call of the Wild I recomend to everyone! Once you get into it you wont want to stop. Very good action and thrill. Comedy a little but great book for anyone for a any title.
Hunter Vs Deer

Please dont shoot says the deer! What have I ever done to you?
The hunter replys your a great trophy buck! You'll be a great story to tell around the ol camp fire.
You have a family says the deer? Why yes I do says the hunter. Well how about I go shoot your dad?
Ever think about that says the deer? Actually iv never thought it out like that before says the hunter. Well I have about 1400 kids out running about says the deer. I understand says the hunter, I will not kill you or any other. Thank you so much says the deer. The deer talking was unwonted.

The cost of life.

Just the fact of having all that responsibility for keeping the lives of human safe is major. It can be difficult at times. People make mistakes all the time.
The captain and the builders of the Titanic had a huge responsibility for all the lives of people on the ship. I couldnt imagine the way they felt that night after hearing the unsinkable..sank. They kept bragging over the ship when they should had been more safe then non safe.
Buck, the main character from The Call Of The Wild he was responsible for his team and being protective. Buck sort of lost track and had to get help out of the river. That I think got him mor strengh and courage. And getting his team where they needed.
How would you have handled all of this yourself? You honestly think you could take what they did? Ponder on that.

Creator and Creation

Frankenstein created the monster from a dead body and after he saw what he had created him he abandoned him for a more regular life. Therefore making the monster more of a human than Frankenstein. All the monster wanted was to be loved and to love, but the world only saw him as a monster. The only people that showed him love was the blind man and the young girl. When you create something like a monster and don't take care and love and teach then your only gonna create a real and true monster as in real life.

What makes us human?

Being human is able to make choices, make something of yourself, teach others right from wrong and to explore new things.

Make choices in many circumstances.
No one has addressed two pivotal points. The first is rather simple, our ability to reflect. No animal looks back on former actions to judge or review the effects of said actions. secondly humans have two instincts, the first we share with all animals, the instinct of survival or nature. The second instinct that makes us unique is the instinct of right and wrong. Ethics, the idea of acting or not acting, not because of consequences, but rather, because of a judgment on the action itself. It is the ability to chose between these two instinct that make us human. Humans are the only creature that don't act purely on the possible consequences of their actions. It is this idea that ends don't always justify the miens, that shows the uniqueness of our humanity. Humans are the only animals that can comprehend the greater good.

I think there is a lot of trial and error still left in the human form. And a lot of de-evolution that critical thinkers would be aghast to discover in our little species.I believe people knew as much about our nature, our being, and our relation to the universe, in ancient times, as modern science has rediscovered for the western world. What makes us truly and distinctively human, perhaps our incredible ability to adapt....even to chaos.

My favorite description of what it means to be human comes from a Matrix quote.
Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague...

Create a man?

If given the power to create life as Frankenstein did, it would depend on that situation and matter.
Bringing life is a huge deal. Creating life is god's responsibility. I'm not sure I would feal comfortable doing gods doing. I could see some good outcome like putting them into the army and ect. Putting them into the war so family's wouldn't worry about there loved ones. Now it could cause conflict in religion and how people believe in it.
So there is many sides to the story, and positives and negatives.
Main truth how it is.

Frankenstein

To me Frankenstein will be a very interesting story. From all the story's from when I was little I remember very well. So therefor brings back memory's. Woman writing this at the age of 19 I cant really grasp. Its incredible that she was able to do this at her age. Sorcerer's Stone I do not believe in but immortality. Science shows up sorcerer's stone by far.
